The pictures tell the story in terms of the kind of bucks that call the ranch home.” Chris Corley Colchester, VT     - About Martinsdale Ranch - The Martinsdale Ranch, located in Central Montana, is situated in some of Montana's most premier white tail and elk country. Located in the foothills of the Crazy Mountains, its location is perfectly situated to access a variety of white tail and elk habitat. - Whitetail & Elk Hunts - The East Martinsdale Ranch is best suited for our whitetail hunts where you will find several stretches of river bottom protected by towering cottonwoods and thick ground cover with a maze of game trails throughout. Our elk hunts are primarily run out of the West Martinsdale Ranch which borders the western boundary of the Lewis & Clark National forest. The west ranch covers over 10,000 acres with ridgelines and high plateaus that run throughout the hunting area. We do have rustic cabins available if you want to stay on the ranch. They are strictly hunting cabins and provide little more than shelter and heat. They each have a wood burning stove, 4-6 bunks, 4 walls, a door, and a roof. Everything you could possibly ask for in the middle of nowhere!! - Pricing - Deer (5 day hunts only)..........$2000 Elk (5 day for rifle, 7 days for archery)..........$2500 - Accommodations - Martinsdale is also approximately a 2 hour drive from Billings, however it is also accessible from Bozeman, Helena, and Great Falls. All are within 1.5 - 2.5 hours from Martinsdale. Town services include: lodging and meals at the Crazy Mountain Inn; spirits at the Mint Bar; fuel; Post Office; and public camping at the Martinsdale Reservoir. Camping is limited on the Martinsdale ranch. However we do have hunting cabins as well. Both will require reservations when booking your hunt. A 50% deposit will be required to book and confirm your hunting dates. All deposits are non-refundable after June 1st. If you do not draw your antelope rifle, elk or deer tag you may still receive a full refund after June 1st by notifying us after the drawing results are posted (Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks will post drawing results sometime in August). *In order to receive a full refund you must notify us within 3 weeks of the drawing results being posted. Anytime thereafter you can apply your full deposit to the following year, otherwise only 25% of your deposit will be refunded.
